TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE1. Parties to this agreement:
  1. The parties to this agreement are yourself and Mymoot.org represented legally by its sole and exclusive owner Oskar Urban.

2. Services rendered by Mymoot.org later referred to as Mymoot:
  1. Exhibition platform for law competition oriented events later referred to as - MOOT (s) or competitions or events.
  2. Mymoot is a free of charge, worldwide platform aiming to connect and improve the cooperation and experience of both individuals partaking in MOOT competitions and MOOT organisers.
  3. Mymoot does not verify the uploaded MOOT competitions and their organisers, the authenticity and accuracy of data provided.

3. General Terms
  1. Each user must be a legal person.
  2. Each legal person may only have one account.
  3. Each user is unconditionally bound to adhere to these terms and conditions.
  4. Mymoot reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions for any reason and at any time
  5. Listing an event implies that you declare that you are a legal representative of that event or the body or organisation giving you legal standing.

4. Participants
  1. Mymoot.org will not share user data with third parties; with the expetion of payment platforms and conferences you apply for.
  2. By signing up to a MOOT listed on mymoot you agree to share information such as (age, nationality, school, diet, email, phone) with the conference organisers.
  3. By signing up to a MOOT listed on mymoot you agree to share information such as (name, surname and billing address) with your chosen payment transfer organisation.

5. Organisers
  1. Organisers are forbidden from publishing private user data gathered in the course of organising a MOOT.
  2. Organisers may not advertise any non-event related activites or services on this platform
  3. Organisers organising an event with a non-zero participation fee must be lawfully representatives of some legal body which may lawfully receive monetary transfers.
  4. Organisers by listing their competition on Mymoot are bound by the rules of honesty and fairness towards participants, chairs, reviewers and the Mymoot platform; any attempt of deception will result in delisting and a permanent ban for all the organisers.
  5. It is the organisers who are ultimately responsible for the MOOT events they list.

6. Payments
  1. Mymoot is a completely free and voluntary platform, we do not charge any service fees or accounting fees.
  2. By submitting a payment through the Mymoot platform you agree to have the transferred amount (minus any banking fees) transferred to your selected event.
  3. All payments made through the Mymoot platform are transferred via a Mymoot account to the account provided by the competition’s organisers.
  4. Any claims of refunds shall be directed to the organisers of MOOTs.
  5. Mymoot's capability in verifying the legitimacy of MOOT events, especially those beyond the boarders of Poland is severely limited, thus we advise that you conduct your own due diligence.
  6. Organisers shall receive the full amount transferred to them by participants within 3 business days of the conclusion of the application process; alternative payment schedules are available, if you wish to conduct payments on a nonstandard timeframe please contact us directly.

7. Penalties
  1. Breaking these terms and conditions may result in sanctions such as:
    • Delisting of conference
    • Temporary account suspension
    • Permanent account suspension

8. Intellectual property
  1. Any and all contents with the exception of those listed below are protected intellectual property of Oskar Urban.
    • Conference descriptions
    • Conference logos
    • Documents such as case files and study guides provided by organisers
    • User profile pictures and personal data and moot CV
  2. Oskar Urban is the sole legal owner with intellectual property rights to the Mymoot.org website, domain name and source code; any unauthorized use or dissemination will result in a permanent unreversible ban and legal action.

9. Conduct
  1. Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited on this platform.
  2. Impersonation of any individual or institution is strictly prohibited on this platform.
  3. It is prohibited to upload, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. You may not upload commercial content on the site or use the site to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service or other organization.

10. Privacy
  1. For optimised usage Mymoot utilizes cookies.
  2. You have the right and option at any time to delete your account and all its data.
  3. Mymoot is committed to safeguard all your sensitive information, if you have cause to believe that a breach may have occurred please contact us directly.

11. In places unregulated by these terms and conditions the provisions of the Polish Civil Code apply.
